Why it is $499 and not $8,000
Most agency quotes are not paying for your website. They are paying for a sales team, an account manager, a project manager, a discovery workshop and six weeks of meetings. We removed every one of those layers. The scope is fixed at five pages and seven days, which means there is no open ended timeline to pad for risk, and we use AI assisted production for the work that used to take a junior designer a week. The strategy, the design decisions and the quality control stay human.
The honest part: the $499 does not carry the business on its own. The $149 a month care plan does. That is deliberate. We would rather earn $149 a month for three years than $8,000 once, and that only works if your site keeps performing for you.

How much does a small business website cost?
Ours is $499 one time plus $149 a month. The industry range for a custom small business site runs from about $3,000 to $10,000 for an agency build, or $0 to $50 a month for a template builder you assemble yourself. We sit deliberately between the two: an agency quality custom build at a productized price, funded by the monthly care plan rather than by a large upfront fee.
How long does a website take to build?
Seven days from the moment we have your content, logo and any photos you want used. If you do not have copy we write it. If you do not have a logo we can handle that too, which adds a few days.
Do I own the website and the code?
Yes. You own the site, the code, the domain and every account we create in your name. If you cancel the monthly plan we hand over the code and move the domain to hosting in your own name.
What happens if I cancel the $149 a month plan?
You keep the website. The monthly covers hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring and small edits, so once it stops you take over hosting or we migrate it to a host of your choice. No contract, no cancellation fee.
What if I need more than 5 pages?
Extra pages are quoted per page, upfront, before any work starts. Larger builds get a fixed project price instead of the $499 package.
Is the site built on WordPress?
No. We build fast static and modern framework sites, which is why they load in under two seconds and need almost no maintenance. There is no plugin stack to break and no security patching treadmill.
